Colleen Kuhlmann
Colleen is the co-owner of Trilight Health and brings over 13 years of experience as a registered occupational therapist with clinical expertise encompassing the full continuum of care in both the public and private sectors in Ontario and British Columbia. Her passion lies in empowering clients to move beyond just coping towards a state of thriving. Colleen has considerable experience working with individuals facing:
Executive functioning challenges affecting work performance, academic success and daily routines
Complex return to work planning
Post-concussion syndrome and brain injury
Chronic health conditions including chronic fatigue syndrome, long-covid and chronic pain
Aging well and aging in place providing support both to individuals and their caregivers
Mental health challenges including trauma, anxiety, and depression
Nervous system dysregulation
Life care planning
Certified Pain BC provider and certified in evidence-based interventions including Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
In addition to direct client care, Colleen has presented at national conferences and provided mentorship and supervision to numerous occupational therapy students. Outside of her professional commitments, Colleen enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, paddle boarding and running half marathons above the arctic circle in Norway! She also values spending quality time connecting with family and friends.
Carly Lightstone
Carly is the co-owner of Trilight Health and has over 18 years of experience as a registered occupational therapist. Her career spans private community rehabilitation and public acute care sectors in Ontario and British Columbia, providing a comprehensive perspective on recovery. With over a decade of experience mentoring and leading occupational therapists, Carly brings deep insight into the complex factors that contribute to the gap between an individual’s current functioning and their true potential. Carly is deeply passionate about the growth, transformation and well-being that unfolds through a meaningful and connected therapeutic process, rooted in evidence-based practice. Carly has extensive experience working with individuals experiencing the following:
